Our Story

How it started

After working together on other projects, Leon and Mike (both Agent Response Founders) sat down to solve a problem in Mike's six branch estate agency of 'too many letting enquiries' - who'd have thought too many leads would be a problem?! However, when you're getting a number of leads for just one property the 'number' of leads is a big issue as each one was taking time to respond to. Add to that a large number are wasting your time (poor quality leads) not really interested in letting a property, difficult to call back to get all their details, or they didn't meet the letting criteria.



That's why Leon, who at the time ran a technology development company, worked with Mike to create the Agent Response solution - Filter out the bad leads. This started with the underlying principle that anyone who wanted to Let a property needed to give their information to the Letting Agent. We then carefully automated the process, providing only quality leads through to the Letting Agent. We didn't want to automate too much, as that takes away the personal service that can differentiate an Agent, but then the basic 'work' should be done efficiently.

How it developed

This solution developed into Agent Response. And now works for both Sales and Letting enquiries. For Lettings it's about sensible automation that gives Letting Agents quality leads. For sales, it's different, it helps to nurture and identify opportunities with your leads and show the Estate Agent's added value. 


We cover both email and phone enquiries, and this means that:

  • At any time of the day and property, an enquiry is 'moved' forward (it's not a message service)
  • All the best practice processes are implemented
  • Lettings - We filter out the leads that aren't really interested
  • Sales - We nurture and add value
  • And we send quality leads with all their details to the Letting or Estate Agent.
